The Summit can be expanded up to a two cabinet system with as many as 48 digital phones X 24 lines in and as many as 64 analog phones.
The main cabinet or KSU starts out at 4 lines in x 8 digital phones plus 4 analog station ports. With the addition of a 4 X 8 Hybrid card, and additional 4 lines and 8 digital or analog phones can be added. A maximum of 2) 4 x 8 cards can be added to the main cabinet with a maximum of 12 lines in x 24 digital phones with 16 of the station ports being hybrid. A 4 X 16 analog station card can be added in the last slot with a maximum of 28 analog phones.
With the addition of the expansion cabinet added the system can be then expanded to a maximum of 24 lines in x 48 digital phones plus 4 analog station ports in an office environment, In an analog configuration and the first 8 station ports being Hybrid a maximum 36 analog or single line phones can be added to a Vertical Summit phone system.

Hybrid is station ports being able to accept either a digital phones or an analog phone.
Digital will only accept 8 button, 24 button or a 30 button digital phone.
